Being Day 1 Tech-Ready

Let's make sure you have access to the technology you'll need for each school day, and a learning environment that supports your focus and growth!

šŸ’” Important: make sure your device meets Aeon's Technology Requirements before Day 1.

āœ… Day 1 Checklist

Before your first day, make sure to sign into the following (on your Aeon devices)

Use a school-supported device, and keep it updated to the latest operating system (see device requirements below).

If you need help at any time, contact the Help Desk at [email protected] or through the Aeon Home support widget.

During the school year, your faculty will help you get set up with additional tools like Canva as needed.

Here's a breakdown of our Day 1 tech checklist:

šŸ’» Confirm Your Device is Aeon Home-Ready

To make sure your student's device is compatible with Aeon's platforms, please review our official Technology Requirements. Here's a few things to keep in mind:

  • In general, you'll have the best experience in Aeon classes using a laptop as your primary school device and a tablet with stylus as your secondary device

  • Make sure you're also signed into Aeon Home on the tablet, and that your stylus is correctly connected (paired) to it

  • Keep your device's operating system updated regularly. Aeon Home and other platforms may not work correctly on outdated software

šŸ”‘ Logging Into Your Aeon Google Account for the First Time

For more guidance, check out our guide: Aeon Home Account & Login Instructions

Each Aeon student has a unique aeonschool.org Google account. This account is used for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, as well as Aeon platforms like Aeon Home and Zoom.
